How Students Are Saving The Hen Harrier at Home in Sheffield

Student life is very busy for most young adults, and with the combination of social pressures and ongoing coursework it can be hard to find the time to fit any hobbies in at all, let alone putting efforts into good causes such as the preservation of wildlife.

But that’s what’s happening in Sheffield in 2018, with a bunch of University of Sheffield based students contributing towards efforts to save the Hen Harrier.

How can you help as a student?

There are so many ways that you can help the Hen Harrier cause in your area as a student. There are many successful breeding attempts for the hen harriers that you can contribute to by going to see them and paying for entrance, or contributing to charities online directly.

You can also volunteer at bird sanctuaries and other bird related events, and spread the word of the hen harrier, and be the voice of the bird in your community.
